Student Development

To demonstrate this principle, the teacher must be able to implement age specific tasks for their students.  The teacher must be in tune with not only what is appropriate to teach at what age level, but also with how students think at every level.  A teacher demonstrating this principle could effectively realize where student's misconceptions are formed due to the development of the student.  In addition this teacher would be consciously aware of what concepts need to be taught during this zone of development in order for the students to grow and move into the next stage.  A teacher that is aware of this principle would teach lessons that are well thought out according to student's abilities according to their development and have accurate lessons according to the standards.
