To demonstrate this principle, the teacher must realize that all students are not the same, and plan their teaching accordingly. The teacher must possess a understanding of differentiated instruction and be able to effectively implement teaching that both challenges the most advanced of learners, yet helps every struggling learner as well. The teacher must realize when a concept is not taught correctly and re-teach the concept if it is necessary. It is the teacher's job to make sure that every student understands every standard that is supposed to be met, and the teacher must change their teaching in a way that not only gets the concept across, but causes the concept to be learned by every single student.
